At the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, we are committed to doing all that we can to help flatten the curve of Covid-19 in our province.
In adherence to the new mandatory measures announced by the Government of Alberta for indoor social gatherings, festivals and events, effective this Friday, November 27 and for a period of three weeks, we won’t be hosting in person events at our convention centre.
Our team remains working hard to continue our mission of connecting people face-to-face and virtually. During these three weeks, the operation of our in-house Virtual Studio continues with a reduced capacity.
The Virtual Studio space and the team behind the scenes have always followed the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease adhering with Alberta Health Services standards, and the Global Biorisk Advisory Council ® (GBAC) STAR™.
Our cutting-edge virtual studio, in partnership with FMAV, allows us to support our clients in connecting with employees and sharing important messages with their audiences during this holiday time in a creative, interactive and professional way.
The Convention Centre’s team is always available to assist and can be contacted via phone at 403-261-8500 or by email at sales@calgary-convention.com.

A safe hub for our community
The safety and health of our team, clients and guests are our top priority. We continue to monitor new developments to align procedures with updated recommendations from local and provincial health authorities.
Our public spaces remain open between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, and closed on weekends and statutory holidays. The Plus 15 Network attached to our Centre is also open, as well as the Convention Centre Parkade (LOT 60), operated by the Calgary Parking Authority (CPA).
As a reminder, Calgary City Council and the Government of Alberta have mandated the wearing of face coverings in all indoor public spaces in our city.
If visiting the Centre, please follow our safety protocols and maintain a 2 meter physical distance with others, wash or sanitize your hands frequently, avoid shaking hands, take the stairs instead of the elevator when possible, and if you are feeling ill, stay home.
